Just minutes from our motel is Lake Mead National Recreational Area. Lake Mead is a beautiful and vast lake created by the construction of Hoover Dam on the Colorado River. The Lake has everything any outdoor enthusiast could want with the best nature has to offer. With easy access and 759 miles of rugged shoreline, it is a boater’s paradise. Visitors enjoy exploring the lake, water skiing, scuba diving, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. Our guests who don’t have a boat can go hiking, camping, biking, and horseback riding. Or they can enjoy taking pictures of the beautiful scenery and perhaps catch a photo of the big horn sheep. After a day on the lake fishing, our guests can park their boats in our oversized parking lot and cook their fish on our outdoor barbeque.
